stalls and shiny things

I'm sorry blog! I have abandoned you in favour of uni work, which makes me sad...no posts at all in November. Poor little blog. D: I kept meaning to upload some work I've done so far this semester, but just never got round to it. Luckily though this Friday is my last day in before we leave for Christmas, so I'll have plenty of time during the holiday to catch up. This week's going to be a little hectic with all the presents and finishing off work for my assessment over the break, but after the 16th everything will be more relaxed, hopefully. XD

One nice piece of news though is that our class did a Christmas stall last Friday; all the proceeds went towards a fund for our end of year show, so we can display our work properly and have it all set up to view. For our first ever fundraiser we raised £40 in total, and considering it was only a little table and our first try I think this is something to be proud of! :3 It was lots of fun creating, although I did most of my stuff the night before, due to insufficient preparation and my incredibly strange sleep cycle :I

My tiny things~ I saw a return to my first love, Fimo. I would have made more but again, this was mostly done the night before so I just ran out of time. The lovely cupcake in the background is a magnetic board I borrowed from a chum to hang the necklaces off.

I was lacking in eye hooks and had to use wire for the catches, which meant some of the jewellery fell apart before I could even get it into class >< I hope whoever bought any didn't find the wires just broke when they got it home like my friend's did. D: I felt terrible. XD; But I have now bought eye hooks so they should be a lot sturdier.

Our stall :3  The table on the left is our second year stuff, and the littler one on the right is third year work, as they joined our Christmassy stallage. We mean to do another one tomorrow, and now that we have more of an idea how it's going to work and how to organise everything, it should hopefully do even better. :)

Now though I should really go and make more jewellery. XD I shall update again soon, I promise. Thanks for dropping by~ <3
