It’s a couple of years old now but the graphics are really sharp and the story flows very well. It demonstrates the plot clearly, as well as explaining things that you might have wondered in the original! I like his take on the narrative too.
The second one is a link my mum sent to me for a stop-motion commercial for Nokia called ‘Gulp’, filmed on an actual beach in Wales using Nokia smart phones.
The entire film is only about a minute long, but the makers put a huge amount of effort and time into completing it. It’s definitely worth a watch (there’s also a ‘making-of’ video after the film). I've loved stop-motion from my Wallace & Gromit childhood, but this was made with full-size objects and filmed from height. Using a giant crane.
The creators' (Sumo Science) website is here, with a list and videos of all their other work (I recommend ‘Plates’ and the Hellman’s Twist advert, which they produced and is around on TV at the moment, if you haven’t already seen it :3).
Thank you for stopping by! Depending on how I get my thoughts in order my next update will be on a gallery visit or just some artwork I’m working on at the moment. <3
